Bose kaffo

Bose Kaffo (born November 14, 1972 in Surulere ) is a Nigerian table tennis player with an international career since the 1980s. She won several medals at African continental tournaments, and to date (2017) she has participated in twelve world championships and five Olympic Games .

Career

Bose Kaffo achieved numerous successes at the African Championships , in which she participated at least five times. She won gold ten times, namely in 1990, 1994 and 1998 in singles, in doubles in 1988 (with Kubrat Owolabi Aduke) and 1998 (with Atisi Owoh), in mixed in 1988 (with Titus Omotara) and 1994 (with Sule Olaleye) as well as in 1988, 1994 and in 2007 with the Nigerian team. There are also three silver medals. She achieved twelve wins at the African Games , in which she was represented at least five times. In 1987, 1991, 1995, 1999 and 2003 she won the team competition every time. She was most successful here in 1995 when she was first in all four disciplines: in singles, doubles with Funke Oshonaike , mixed with Sule Olaleye and with the team.

To date (2017), Bose Kaffo has been nominated twelve times for world championships (1987, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008), but never came close to medal ranks. Since 1992 (until 2008) she had no chance at the five Olympic Games .

In the early 1990s, Bose Kaffo played for two years in Italy for clubs in Messina and Cagliari.
