Bossam is a meat dish in Korean cuisine that is often eaten as anju when consuming alcohol.

Bossam is made from pork that is cooked as a roast . The meat is marinated beforehand with Doenjang and cooked in a broth with garlic , ginger and onions . Then it is cut into thin slices.

You can also eat rice , (fresh) kimchi and side dishes . Much like bulgogi Bossam can also be eaten by the meat is rolled up with other ingredients in a lettuce leaf and is pushed as a complete bundle in his mouth. Instead of normal lettuce leaves, sesame leaves or the Chinese cabbage leaves pretreated for kimchi are also used. Then you typically eat the freshly prepared and not yet fermented kimchi.
