Botão is a Portuguese town and former municipality.

The former municipality ( Freguesia ) belongs to the district ( concelho ) of Coimbra . The community had a total area of 17.3 km² and 1588 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
As part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal on September 29, 2013, Botão was merged with the municipality of Souselas to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Souselas e Botão . Souselas became the headquarters of the new community.
