Souselas is a Portuguese town and former municipality.
administration
The former municipality ( Freguesia ) belongs to the district ( concelho ) of Coimbra . The community had a total area of 15.7 km² and 3102 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
As part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal on September 29, 2013, Souselas was merged with the municipality of Botão to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Souselas e Botão . Souselas became the headquarters of the new community.
