Boubacar Talatou (2011)

Boubacar Talatou (born December 3, 1987 in Niamey ) is a Nigerien football player.

Talatou, who is active as a midfielder, played for the Nigerien club AS GNN since 2007 . In 2009, he was the center of an affair when he was supposed to take part in the U-17 African Cup of Nations for the Nigerien U-17 national soccer team and it turned out that he was 22 years old, not 17 as stated . The African football association Confédération Africaine de Football then disqualified the team from participating in the championship. Shortly afterwards, the President of the Nigerien Football Association, Fédération Nigérienne de Football, Amadou Diallo, and the Minister of Sports, Abdoul Ramane Seydou, resigned. In the 2010/11 season Talatou moved to the Gabonese club AS Mangasport . The following season he moved to South Africa , where he first played for the Orlando Pirates . He has been under contract with AmaZulu Durban since 2012 .

In 2010 he was appointed to the Nigerien national soccer team for the first time , with which he also took part in the 2013 Africa Cup .
