Boudeuse , occasionally called King Ross , is an uninhabited coral island in the southwest of the Amiranten , an archipelago in the Indian Ocean . The island is one of the Outer Islands of the Seychelles . Boudeuse is about 230 kilometers away from Mahé , the main island of the Seychelles.
The treeless island has an area of about 0.01 km². Like almost all of the Seychelles' Outer Islands, it is flat and only protrudes about four meters above sea level. Boudeuse is about 29 kilometers away from Étoile Cay , its neighboring island , which is also uninhabited .
