The Boumbe (also Bumbe ) is a river in central Africa.
course
The 150 km long river rises about 10 km east of the border with Cameroon in the province of Nana-Mambéré . It initially flows in a southerly direction until after about 20 km it meets the border with Cameroon. From then on it forms the border to between the Central African Republic and Cameroon, until after another 130 km near Gamboula it flows into the Kedei.

The Boumbe is a deposit for diamonds. Gold is also mined in it.

Several finds of the Acheulean culture have been made on the Boumbe.
