Highest point in Nevada
The Boundary Peak is just a minor summit of Montgomery Peak , which is located in the California part of the White Mountains . Since Wheeler Peak in the east of the state is 25 meters lower than Boundary Peak , but with the Snake Range is completely in Nevada, it can also be considered the highest mountain in Nevada. In addition, the notch height of the Wheeler Peak is 2305 meters, while it is only 77 meters at the Boundary Peak .
