Boureima Maïga (born November 15, 1983 in Bobo-Dioulasso , Upper Volta , today Burkina Faso ) is a former football player who is a national of Burkina Faso and Belgium .

He began his career at the youth academy of Planète Champion Ouagadougou in the Burkinabe capital and played for the Belgian clubs KSC Lokeren , RE Bertrix, KRC Waregem and KV Oostende . Then he moved back to his home country and joined Talba Sport de Bassinko . For the 2009/10 season he returned to Belgium and moved to KMSK Deinze . From 2010 he played for Lance FC de Réo and ended his career there a year later.

National team

Maïga took part in the U-20 World Cup in 2003 and the U-17 World Cup in 1999 . In 2001, 2008 and 2009 he played one game for the senior national team .
