The Bowsprit Moraine is a 2.5 km long medium moraine in the Convoy Range of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located off the northeast tip of the Elkhorn Ridge , where the Towle and Northwind Glaciers flow into the Fry Glacier .
Its descriptive name, which it owes to its resemblance to a bowsprit ( English bowsprit ), it was given by a team that worked in this area from 1989 to 1990 for the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program .
