The Boxing Union of Ireland (BUI for short), based in the Irish capital Dublin , is an Irish boxing organization whose current (as of 2017) President Mel André Christle is.

The association awards the Irish championship title in professional boxing in the respective weight classes and is the successor to the Irish Boxing Board of Control , which was associated with the BBBofC and promoted Irish professional boxing in the 1960s and 1970s.

The Irish amateur boxing competitions are organized by the IABA which also organizes the Northern Irish amateur competitions.
