The Irish Amateur Boxing Association ( IABA , Irish Cumann Dornálaíochta Amaitéaraí na hÉireann ) is the Irish umbrella organization for amateur boxing and organizes, develops and promotes amateur boxing throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland . It is one of the many national associations that belong to the world boxing association AIBA and was founded in 1911.

The association has established provincial councils in each of the following provinces: Ulster , Leinster , Connacht , Munster , Antrim and Dublin . Although Antrim and Dublin are not part of the four traditional provinces of Ireland, notable boxing clubs each developed.

The current president is Tommy Murphy.
