The Boyes River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river rises on the western slopes of the Great Dome in the Denison Range and flows south. After a good 10 km it flows into Lake Gordon and thus into the Gordon River .
In its entire length, the Gell River runs through completely uninhabited area in the eastern part of the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park .
