Bräurangen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bräurangen or Bräuhaus is a deserted area in the city of Kirchenlamitz in the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel .

In the deed of sale from the lordship of Epprechtstein der Wild to the burgraves of Nuremberg in 1356, several places that have now disappeared are named, including "preuhues". In particular, the location of two Meierhöfe and that of the deserted bread basket have not been conclusively clarified, but they are included in the supply of the castle just like the Bräurangen.

The Bräurangen and Bräuloh corridors are located at the foot of the Epprechtstein, south of the road connecting Kirchenlamitz and Weißdorf . Fragments from the 12th / 13th centuries Century and 64 ceramic shards of high medieval silver mica ware confirmed the location in 2015, so that it was classified as a ground monument.
