Wild (noble family)
The von Wild family was a Saxon noble family that was also represented in parts of Franconia .
After the noble family of the bags along with the Wild on the Epprechtstein shrub thieves and robber barons was discredited because it mostly Egerer kidnapped merchants and only freely gave back for ransom, which attacked castle counts of Nuremberg one, where the incidents all too well in their Territorial policy fit. In 1352 they stormed the robbery palace in order to obtain it as a fief .
On May 18, 1356 the savages sold their property to the burgraves of Nuremberg. This included the Epprechtstein Castle , various settlements, real estate, including fish ponds, mines and other rights.
The main settlements are: " Kirchen Lomicz ", " Lauterbach " (desert), "frawengruen" (desert), " Heidelberg ", "Wolfspach" (desert), "Rabenlesin" (desert), "daz Meyrhoeflin under dem Duerrenperg ”(Dürr: tower hill, not Dürrnberg ),“ protkorp ”(deserted bread basket),“ daz Meyerhoflin vnd daz preuhues ”(brewery, desert, corridor Bräurangen) located between the“ Ekpadelstein vnd den Dorffern ”(...); " Then to Hagenbuech ", " zwendorf ", " Dyetrichspurg " (probably Niederlamitz ), " pruenn ", " Spilberg ", " Lenkin " (Rohrsbach) "hie dissit der Eger", against which "Ekpdrehstein warts", " Reynbotengruen and prevent Sloppin (...) ".
The places “ Steinselbin ”, “ puechpach ”, “ pruenn ”, “ wezzebach ” and “ Vilicz ” are mentioned in the document as a free float or as a settlement with individual rights .
The coat of arms of those of Wild shows a golden crescent that opens upwards in a blue field. A similar coat of arms is also used by the South German noble family Woellwarth .
