Großschloppen is a district of Kirchenlamitz in the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains .

The village lies in the open, 2.2 km southwest of Kirchenlamitz at a junction of the district road WUN 1 between Kirchenlamitz and Weißenstadt , which continues in the direction of Reicholdsgrün .
The former district of Reicholdsgrün was incorporated into Kirchenlamitz as part of the municipal reform in 1978, together with its main town.
Under monument protection is a byre-dwelling . The Weißenstadt uranium mine indicates that Pechblende was also mined with the Christa mine at Großschloppen . Klockmannite , berzelianite and umangite were also found .
