Wustung near Schnepfenmühle is a district of Kirchenlamitz in the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains .

The districts Schnepfenmühle and Wustung bei Schnepfenmühle are directly adjacent to each other and are only separated by the Lamitz . Wustung near Schnepfenmühle is orographically to the left and west of the Lamnitz. From Schnepfenmühle a country road continues to Dörflas near Kirchenlamitz . A connecting road leads to the country road from Niederlamitz via Fahrenbühl to Schwarzenbach an der Saale , parallel to State Road 2177 .

The name Wustung indicates that the place was previously a desert and was then repopulated. Presumably the place was previously called Paulegrün .
