Fichtenhammer is a district of Kirchenlamitz in the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains .

The hamlet is about 3.5 km southwest of Kirchenlamitz on the northern edge of the Buchberg forest . Connecting roads lead to the neighboring towns of Reicholdsgrün , Großschloppen , Kleinschloppen and Lehsten .

The place was first mentioned in 1498 as "Lehstenhammer", named after the Lehstenbach, which flows through the place. The former district of Reicholdsgrün was incorporated into Kirchenlamitz as part of the municipal reform in 1978, together with its main town.

A farm, a stable house and a former mill are now under monument protection .
