Wustung near Niederlamitz is a district of Kirchenlamitz in the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains .

The district of Wustung bei Niederlamitz is located at the Kirchenlamitz-Ost train station on the outskirts of Niederlamitz towards Dörflas bei Kirchenlamitz . It is located on the edge of the forest below the Great Kornberg . Before it was incorporated into the municipality of Kirchenlamitz, Wustung and Vorsuchhütte belonged to Niederlamitz.

The name Wustung indicates that the place was previously a desert and was then repopulated. Historically it was a Hirschberg estate near Hirschstein Castle .
