Braemar Hill ( Chinese 寶馬 山 , Pinyin Bǎomǎshān ) is a smaller mountain at the foothills of the Siu Ma Shan . This is located in the Eastern District on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong . It got its name from the British colonial government, probably based on the Scottish village of Braemar .

Braemar Hill is located in the Eastern District , south of the North Point borough between Causeway Bay and Quarry Bay . Central access is via Braemar Hill Road .
General
The area around Braemer Hill is mainly home to residential complexes, as well as public and private school facilities. Among other things, the Hong Kong Shue Yan University , the Chinese International School , the Tutor Time International Nursery & Kindergarten and the public Choi Sai Woo Recreation Park are located there. Due to its good location and high property prices, the residential areas around Braemar Hill are one of the preferred residential areas of the upper class .

• On February 24, 1949 crashed Douglas DC-3 of the Cathay Pacific airline on Braemar Hill, as a result, all 23 passengers died.
• Braemar Hill received national and international attention when, on April 20, 1985, the brutal murder of two British residents of Hong Kong took place there.
• According to the 2010/2011 People's Republic of China Census , the median income of residents in the Braemar Hill area is HKD 96,740.
• There are regular Green Race Trail running championships on Braemar Hill .
