Branconi (noble family)
Branconi is the name of a wealthy German noble family Pessina de Branconi who originally came from Calabria ( southern Italy ) . The line of trunks begins with Francesco Pessina († October 21, 1766 in Rosarno , Province of Reggio Calabria ), official of the royal Neapolitan general leases.
Nobility rise
First, Pessina's widow Maria Antonia Pessina de Branconi , born Elsener , was raised to the personal knightly imperial nobility with the name “von Branconi” on November 30, 1774 in Vienna . Three days later, on December 3, 1774, their two children Antonio Francesco Salvatore Pessina and Anna Maria Pessina were also raised to the imperial nobility.
