Anton von Branconi

Franz Anton Salvator von Branconi , born Antonio Mariano Salvatore Francesco Pessina de Branconi (born October 31, 1762 in Naples , Italy ; † May 20, 1828 in Langenstein ) was a Anhalt-Dessau court official, Prussian politician and canon at the Church of Our Lady in Halberstadt .

Life

He came in Calabria resident and rich wealthy northern Italian noble family Pessina de Branconi (see: Branconi (noble family) ) and was the son of Francesco Pessina de Branconi (? -1766) and Maria Antonia Elsener (1746-1793), who as a widow on November 30, 1776 when Maria Antonia von Branconi was raised to the personal knightly imperial nobility. Only three days later, son Anton and his sister Anna Maria were raised to the imperial nobility on December 3, 1776.

Branconi became canon of the Church of Our Lady in Halberstadt in 1785 . Later he was district administrator of the Osterwieck district and mayor. He was also the travel marshal of Duke Franz von Anhalt-Dessau (see also: Palais Branconi ). He inherited the Langenstein estate from his mother in 1793. In 1807 he was elected to the imperial estates of the Kingdom of Westphalia for the department of the Harz .

On November 7, 1795, he married Sophie Caroline von Rössing (February 8, 1767 - March 16, 1852) from Berßel . The couple had several children:
