The travel marshal accompanied rulers or high nobility on their travels. Before that, he had organized, procured and prepared everything needed for the trip. He was the superior of the traveling servants personnel to the example of Reisehofbäcker, travel butler , Travel mouth Koch, Reisehofcassier, Reisehofprofoss and many more included. During the trip he took care of the more important matters. Lower princes had only a travel stable master instead of the traveling marshal .
Up to our day, the respective Pope uses a travel marshal.
