Brattvågen ( Norwegian for Steep Bay ) is a small side bay of Holme Bay on the Mawson coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It lies west of the Ring Rock and is flanked by steep cliffs.
According to the Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica , it was Russian scientists who named it. It is much more likely that it was named by Norwegians.
