Breathe is a country song by Faith Hill that was released in 1999 as the first single on the album of the same name, Breathe . The song was written by Stephanie Bentley and Holly Lamar.

Commercial win

Breathe was released on October 5th, 1999 with the B-side It All Comes Down to Love in the USA and was at the top of the Hot Country Songs for six weeks, at number 1 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks Charts for 17 weeks and one week # 1 on the Adult Top 40 Charts. The song reached # 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 5 weeks . In 2009 the song reached number 27 on the Billboard Decade Charts.

The song was released in the UK in May 2000 and reached number 33 on the UK charts.

The music video for the song ranks fourth in Country Music Television's 100 Best Videos of All Time .
