Bredal is a Danish town in Vejle municipality in the Syddanmark region . The village has 659 inhabitants (January 1, 2020). The village is located in the parish of Engum ( Engum Sogn ), which until 1970 belonged to Harde Hatting Herred in what was then Vejle Amt . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was included in the Vejle Municipality in the Vejle Office, which was retained, the municipality in turn merged with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 in the expanded Vejle Municipality in the Syddanmark region.

Bredal is about eight kilometers northeast of Vejle .
