The SG Oslebshausen club withdrew from the regional league in December 2010 for financial reasons.

history

For the 2002/2003 season, TSV Lesum rose from the regional league to the 2nd BBL North . The season ended with 12th place. After the season, the license of the first men's team was transferred to the newly founded Bremen Roosters GmbH. In the following years the placements were achieved seven, six and 14. In the 2006/2007 season he qualified for the newly organized 2nd league ProA with 7th place . Before the 2007/2008 season, plans to move the roosters to Munich were discussed due to a lack of hall capacity in Bremen. Since joining the Pro A in 2007/2008, the team played their games at SG Oslebshausen eV in Sperberstraße. The 2007/2008 season ended the team in 11th place. The team was trained at the beginning of the season by the Serb Rade Vojnovic, who transferred the office to his assistant Nedim Hizliates.

The former NBBL team Team Bremen was worn by TSV, not by the Roosters. In the meantime, there is no longer any noteworthy cooperation with TSV Lesum-Burgdamm. The youth cooperation is currently carried out exclusively with Vegesacker TV.

The shareholders of Bremen Roosters GmbH are the controlling partner Burak Canboy (formerly BTS Neustadt, Delmenhorster TV), sporcan GmbH (100% owned by Burak Canboy), as well as SG Oslebshausen eV and messer & schoelles GmbH (Andreas Messer, former President of the Bremen Basketball Association).

On June 2, 2009 the Bremen Roosters announced their withdrawal from the 2nd basketball league .

The right to play was transferred to the SG Oslebshausen club , which started in the 1st regional league from the 2009/2010 season.
