The Brennabor jewel 6 Type B is a passenger car of the upper-middle class , which the Brennabor-Werke 1929 as successor to the A-type brought out.
The vehicle had a 6-cylinder SV in-line engine with a displacement of 2.46 liters at the front. It developed 45 hp at 3200 rpm. It drove the rear wheels via a single-disc dry clutch and a 3-speed gearbox with a gearshift lever in the middle of the car. The cars with a U-profile pressed steel frame had rigid axles with semi-elliptical longitudinal leaf springs (in an underslung version on the rear axle ) and were available as a 4-door sedan, convertible sedan or 2-door convertible. The mechanical foot brake worked on all 4 wheels, the hand brake on the rear wheels.
Similar to the A-types, there were two different body lengths. The short model (4050 mm) was called Juwel 6 , the long (4150 mm) Juwel 6 Extra .
The 3.08-liter ASK / ALK engine with 55 hp was available at an additional cost.
A total of around 3,000 Juwel 6 / Juwel 6 Extra were made by 1932. The successor from 1933 was the 2.5 liter Brennabor .
