Brenner ( Hebrew מועצה אזורית ברנר Mo'atza Azorit Brenner ) is an Israeli regional association . It is named after the writer Josef Chaim Brenner , who was killed on May 2, 1921 during the riots in Jaffa south of Jaffa . The regional association was founded in 1950.
