Brett Wetterich (born August 9, 1973 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is an American professional golfer of the PGA TOUR .

Career

He became a professional golfer in 1994 and had his first season with the PGA TOUR in 2000, which was affected by several injuries. Wetterich then played a few years in the Nationwide Tour , where he was able to secure a tournament victory in 2003 and 2004. He qualified again for the big tour from 2005 and won his first tournament there the following year, the traditional EDS Byron Nelson Championship . Wetterich dedicated this victory to his brother Mark, who was killed by a drunk driver in Chicago in 2003 .
