Brian Henderson (born November 22, 1986 in Amiens ) is a French - Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Ducs d'Angers in Ligue Magnus since 2010 . His father, Dave Henderson, was also a professional ice hockey player.

Career

Brian Henderson was born in Amiens when his Canadian father was a professional ice hockey player there. It was there that he began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HC Amiens Somme . In the meantime he played in the 2006/07 season for the Canadian junior team Orleans Blues in the Canadian Junior Hockey League . For the 2007/08 season the center returned to Amiens and played for three years for the professional team of HC Amiens Somme in the Ligue Magnus , the top French division.

For the 2010/11 season , the French international was signed by Amien's league rivals Ducs d'Angers , for whom he has played since then.

International

For France , Henderson only took part in the U20 Junior B World Cup in 2006 in the junior division. In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2010 and 2011 A-World Championships .
