Brigitta Schulz

Brigitta Schulz (born November 6, 1953 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life

Schulz trained as an industrial clerk in the chemical company and as a state-certified secretary and then worked full-time for almost thirty years as a secretary in a patent attorney's office, as a chief secretary in an insurance company and in a furniture store. Since 2003 she has been working part-time as a secretary for business associations.

Schulz is married.

politics

Schulz has been a member of the SPD since 2002, and has been a member of the executive board in the Hausbruch district since 2003 . On January 1, 2012, she moved to the Hamburg Parliament . It replaced the mandate of Thomas Völsch , who was elected from the list in the Süderelbe constituency.

In the 2015 mayor election , Schulz won a direct mandate in her constituency of the Süderelbe and was therefore a member of the 21st Hamburg Parliament from March 2015 .

In April 2017, Schulz gave up her citizenship mandate. Her husband, the social democrat Manfred Schulz, had previously given up the chairmanship of the Harburg district assembly . Jasmin Hilbring took over for Schulz .
