Brigitte Eierle

Brigitte Eierle is a German economist and professor of business administration. She holds the chair for business administration, in particular international accounting and auditing, at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg .

Life

Brigitte Eierle completed her studies in business administration with the academic degree of Diplom-Betriebswirtin (FH) at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences . In 1997 she received her degree in business administration from the University of Augsburg .

In 2003 Brigitte Eierle did her doctorate with Axel Haller at the Johannes Kepler University Linz .

Her habilitation followed in 2008 .

Since April 2009 she has held the chair for business administration, in particular international accounting and auditing, at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg.

Research priorities

Her research areas include international accounting, accounting for non-capital market oriented companies and the capital market relevance of accounting information.
