Education

As an alternative to vocational training and professional development , it is also possible to study business administration at a university , university of applied sciences or dual university or vocational academy.

Academic business administrators are increasingly trained in a specialized way due to the numerous new Bachelor courses. Examples include the specializations in the functional area such as marketing, production, human resources, accounting, controlling or taxes or the specializations in the institutional area such as banking, healthcare, public service or industry.

In addition, there is the continuing education MBA course , which does not build on the content of a previous economics course and is aimed at graduates from other disciplines such as engineers, natural scientists and humanities scholars, lawyers and medical professionals who want to prepare for management positions and an alternative to a business management course search. Depending on the program, economists can also specialize through an MBA.
