Brigitte Jank (born September 19, 1951 in Vienna ) is an Austrian entrepreneur and politician ( ÖVP ). From December 2004 to June 2014 she was President of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce , from 2013 to 2017 a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

In 1971, Brigitte Jank graduated from the commercial academy of the Viennese business community with the Matura . She then started her professional life in the real estate industry , where she still works as a self-employed entrepreneur today. In 1998 she was sworn in as a sworn and certified expert for real estate.

From May 16, 2000 to November 25, 2004 she was the head of the Real Estate and Asset Trustee section of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, from March 2003 to November 2004 she was also Vice President and, after giving up both offices, from December 1, 2004 to June 5, 2014 her President.

In addition to her work as managing director of her real estate company, she has many other functions, for example, she is the deputy president of the football club FK Austria Wien (2008-2015), vice-president of the international real estate association FIABCI, lecturer at the Vienna University of Applied Sciences (FH degree in real estate management), Chairwoman of the University Council of the Module University Vienna and chairwoman of the Vienna Economic Association .

After she had been a member of the provincial board of the ÖVP Vienna for a long time, she was sworn in as a member of the Austrian National Council on October 29, 2013.

Brigitte Jank is married and has one daughter.
