Scott Nigel Kenneth Wiseman (born October 9, 1985 in Kingston upon Hull ) is an English - Gibraltar football player .

Career

Wiseman moved from youth to the Hull City first team in 2003 . From 2003 to 2007 he played 14 games for Hull, including in the Football League Championship . In 2005 he was awarded to Boston United in the fourth-rate Football League Two . In August 2006 he was awarded again, namely in the third English division, Football League One , to Rotherham United . In 2007 he moved to Darlington FC . After just one year he went to Rochdale AFC and rose with the club in 2010 from fourth to third division. From 2011 to 2014 Wiseman was under contract with Barnsley FC . From January 2014 to summer 2015 he played for Preston North End .

In the summer of 2015, he then moved to league rivals Scunthorpe United. Here Wiseman played 48 league games in 2 seasons, he was also used in the FA Cup and League Cup . On July 1, 2017, he moved to the Football League Two for Chesterfield FC.

National team

In October 2013 Wiseman was nominated for the national team of Gibraltar , making it one of the few professional footballers in the team. He made his international debut on November 19, 2013 in Faro, Portugal, in a 0-0 win against Slovakia .
