Brigitte Lange (politician, 1939)
Brigitte Lange (born November 6, 1939 in Mauersberg ; † March 14, 2012 in Marburg ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the German Bundestag .
Life
After graduating from high school, Lange studied pedagogy and German studies . She was a member of various charitable organizations, such as the workers' welfare and the association against forgetting - for democracy . She had been a member of the SPD since 1972, for which she held various board functions until 1994, both at local and district level. Since 1972 she has also been a member of the Marburg-Biedenkopf district assembly, and in 1990 she was elected to the Bundestag, to which she was a member until 2002.
