The Brimstone Peak (literally sulfur tip ) is a 2340 m high mountain with a small, ice-free and flattened peaks in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Prince Albert Mountains , it looms between the Outpost Nunatakkern and the Ricker Hills .
Members of the southern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963) mapped it and named the mountain after its rock color, reminiscent of “hellfire and sulfur”.
