Bristow Muldoon (born March 19, 1964 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Labor Party .

In the Scottish general elections in 1999 and 2003 , Muldoon won the direct mandate in his constituency of Livingston and moved into the Scottish Parliament . In the 2007 general election, he was defeated by his opponent Angela Constance of the Scottish National Party (SNP). Muldoon was previously an elected councilor in the West Lothian Council Area . He is married and has a master's degree in chemistry. Since 2007 Muldoon has been the liaison of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Royal Society of Edinburgh to the Scottish Parliament.
