The British Handball Association (BHA, German: British Handball Federation) is the national umbrella organization for the sport of handball in the United Kingdom . The handball association was founded in Liverpool in 1967 and has been a member of the European Handball Federation (EHF) since 2004 and of the International Handball Federation (IHF) since 1970 .
