Britt Goodwin (born April 24, 1983 in Gjøvik , Norway ) is a former British handball player .

Career

Goodwin began playing handball in her hometown of Gjøvik when she was ten. From the 2002/03 season, the outside player played for the then Norwegian first division club Gjøvik HK. In six seasons at Gjøvik HK, she scored 16 goals in a total of 44 first division games and 10 goals in 21 second division games. In the 2008/09 season Goodwin ran for the first division club dead HK, for which they threw 17 hits in 18 games. In the following season she played for the second division club Fjellhammer IL - 14 goals in 20 games. In the summer of 2010, she joined the third division Asker SK. In the summer of 2011 she moved to Great Britain to prepare for the Olympic Games with the British national team.

Britt Goodwin was a member of the British national handball team . She was part of the British squad that took part in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London .

Her father, Steve Goodwin, is a former professional footballer who played for Norwich City and Southend United in the 1970s before moving to Norway.

Britt Goodwin won the Norwegian version of Big Brother in 2005 .
