Britt Ingunn Nydal (born November 5, 1989 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier and orienteer .

Career

Nydal achieved her first top ten finish in the Scandinavian Cup in January 2007 with ninth place in the 15 km freestyle mass start race in Sjusjøen in the first race and made her debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in March 2008 at the sprint in Drammen , where she placed 54 occupied. In January 2011, Nydal achieved her first podium finish in the Scandinavian Cup with third place over 10 km classic in Torsby and won her first World Cup points the following month with 29th over 10 km classic in Drammen. In December 2012 she won the Scandinavian Cup race in Sjusjøen over 15 km in a classic mass start. Nydal achieved her best World Cup result in January 2013 with 25th place in the 10 km freestyle mass start race in La Clusaz . In the overall standings of the Scandinavian Cup, she finished second in the 2010/11 season and third in both 2011/12 and 2012/13 .
