The Brock Gully (English for Dachsrinne ) is a valley in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Allan Hills , it is one mile south of Windwhistle Peak .
The valley was explored in 1964 by a team working in the Allan Hills as part of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program . The latter named it after a colloquial name for the badger , as the surroundings reminded them of regions of England that were shaped by this marten .
