Brod na Kupi is a town in Croatia about 12 km north of Delnice ( Primorje-Gorski kotar County ) with about 400 inhabitants. The village lies on a tributary of the Kupa , after which it is named. In Brod na Kupi there is a border crossing to Slovenia .
Ribarsko (fishing village), the old name of the village, indicates the abundance of fish in the area. This area is still popular with anglers today. The place is a starting point for tourists visiting Gorski kotar .
The most important sight is the church of Sv. Magdalene from 1670 .
