Brodie Retallick (born May 31, 1991 in Rangiora ) is a New Zealand rugby union player on the position of the second-line striker . Retallick attended Christchurch Boys High School before playing for the Hawkes Bay Magpies in the ITM Cup from 2010 to 2011 . He plays in the super rugby championship for the Chiefs and for Bay of Plenty in the ITM Cup.

Retallick represented the New Zealand U-20 national team at the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship.

He made his debut for the All Blacks on June 9, 2012 against Ireland. Retallick played in every All Blacks game in the 2012 Rugby Championship in 2012 . In 2012 he played a total of 13 games for the national team. In 2013, Retallick played another eleven test matches.

He has been a regular for the All Blacks since 2014.

In 2015 Brodie Retallick won the world championship with the All Blacks in England and Wales .

On November 22, 2014, he was named World Rugby Player of the Year.
