Luzia Moldenhauer

Luzia Moldenhauer (born February 20, 1959 in Würselen ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Luzia Moldenhauer grew up with three siblings in Baesweiler and graduated from the Bischöfliches Gymnasium St. Ursula in Geilenkirchen in 1978 . In 1989 she moved to Bassum and worked as a freelancer for various newspapers and as a freelance lecturer before moving into the state parliament.

Moldenhauer has been a member of the town council of Bassum since 1995 and was deputy mayor between 2000 and 2014. She has been a member of the Diepholzer district council since 2003 and was a member of the district committee from 2011 to 2016.

Moldenhauer is since 2011 deputy chairman of the SPD subdistrict and spokeswoman for the SGK in Diepholz, since 2012 it is ASF -Vorsitzende in the district of Hannover.

Moldenhauer was mayoral candidate of the SPD in Bassum in 2006, but was subject to the incumbent. For the 2013 state election , she ran for the Syke state electoral district, but was unable to win the electoral district. On October 22nd, 2014 she replaced Jürgen Krogmann , who was elected Lord Mayor of Oldenburg . In the state parliament she is a member of the data protection commission, the committee for the environment, energy and climate protection and the committee for federal and European affairs, media and regional development.

On March 23, 2017, Moldenhauer was again elected as a direct candidate for the Syke state electoral district. The 32nd place on the state list was not enough for the re-entry into the state parliament in the state elections in 2017 .
