The Broknes (Norwegian for Broken Nose ) is a large and rocky peninsula on the Ingrid Christensen coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . It is located on the eastern foothills of the Larsemann Hills .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it in 1946 based on aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen Expedition 1936/37 and gave it its descriptive name. The "break" in the peninsula is caused by the Nella Fjord .
