The Brooklyn Aces were an American ice hockey team from New York City , New York . The team played in the Eastern Professional Hockey League in the 2008-09 season .

history

The team was founded in 2008 as a franchise of the Eastern Professional Hockey League , which was held for the first time . In their only season, the Aces finished first of the regular season, but then failed in the playoffs. After the league ceased playing at the end of the 2008/09 season, so did the Brooklyn Aces.
