The Jersey Rockhoppers were an American ice hockey team from West Orange , New Jersey . The team played in the Eastern Professional Hockey League in the 2008-09 season .
history
The team was founded in 2008 as a franchise of the Eastern Professional Hockey League , which was held for the first time . In their only season, the Rockhoppers, trained by the American Brian Gratz , finished second in the regular season and then won the championship title in the playoffs. After the league ceased playing at the end of the 2008/09 season, so did the Jersey Rockhoppers.
