Bror Beckman (born February 10, 1866 in Kristinehamn , † July 22, 1929 in Ljungskile ) was a Swedish composer .

Beckman became a member of the Stockholm Academy of Music in 1904 and director of the Conservatory in 1910 . From 1915 he was inspector for school music lessons for eight years.

He composed a symphony , two symphonic poems , a sonata for violin and piano , piano pieces and songs in the late romantic style.
